Samsung Introduces All-In-One Wireless Smartphone - JACK

Samsung Canada today announced the Samsung i616 smartphone, its first all-in-one wireless device which it calls JACK. Finished in black, the lightweight Samsung Jack phone operates on the Windows Mobile 6.0 Standard Edition platform and is now available from Rogers Wireless.

The Samsung Jack all-in-one device is designed to provide owners with all of the features commonly found in smartphones today including: the ability to make calls, take pictures, browse websites, listen to music, access Windows messenger, access documents using Windows mobile apps, transfer files from their PC and check their email.

Additional features include a 320 x 240 pixel colour display, expandable memory (up to 4GB), built-in GPS navigation capability, 2.0 megapixel camera, stereo Bluetooth, and a QWERTY keyboard for text input.

The Samsung JACK currently sells for $399.99. Discounts are available if purchased with a long term voice and email plan.
